Located within the Mandai Wildlife Reserve in Singapore, the 13-hectare Rainforest Wild ASIA is an adventure-based zoological park inspired by the landscapes of Southeast Asian rainforest. Visitors can journey through the different layers of the rainforest, from forest floor to canopy, via a network of interconnected forest trails and elevated walkways. The adventure culminates in a 220-metre cavern, inspired by the stunning cave chambers of Sarawak’s Mulu Caves.

From the initial conceptualisation of a rainforest park in Singapore to the schematic design, tender documentation and construction supervision, our collaboration with Mandai Wildlife Group has been thoughtfully planned to harmonise with the surrounding environment.

CPG began collaborating with Mandai Wildlife Group on the design and development of a groundbreaking rainforest park back in 2017. Capturing the essence of a rainforest and connecting visitors with the rich biodiversity of Southeast Asia has been a central part of the ideation process. Key features such as the Cavern are not only visually captivating but also incorporate educational information about rock formations and wildlife that inhabit cave environments.
